RCD Espanyol - Alaves (3-2)

RCDE Stadium

Took an opportunity to watch Espanyol while on vacation with my family in Costa Brava. Blanes is a little seaside town not far from Girona. Girona also played on these days but as it was a regional derby against Barca, tickets were enormously expensive. And, to be honest I like Espanyol more than those two Catalonian clubs.

There is a direct train from Blanes right to Barcelona. It's slow but quite picturesque as the railway lies along the coast. I had to transfer at L'Hospitalet and take another train to Cornella de Ll'Obregat - a suburban town where Espanyol plays. The whole journey took me around 2 hours.

RCDE stadium is located right next to the big mall. In fact, you can go to the stands right from the mall. The arena is over 10 years old but still feels spanking new. I really liked it and the whole trip turned out really enjoyable.
